Trust & Comparison
Dallas Best Car Detailing is a fully mobile, licensed and insured detailer serving the entire Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, with services starting at $150 and same-week availability seven days a week. We bring professional-grade equipment to your home or office across all 18 DFW cities we cover, so you never drive anywhere or wait in a shop. What sets us apart is restorative work — paint correction and ceramic coating included — rather than a quick rinse, backed by Garage Keepers insurance on every job.
Yes — mobile detailing delivers the same quality as a brick-and-mortar shop because Dallas Best brings the identical professional equipment and process to your driveway. The only real difference is convenience: we come to your home or office anywhere in DFW, so you skip the drop-off, the waiting room, and the second trip. For paint correction and ceramic coating we use the same machine polishers and professional-grade coatings a shop would.
Yes. Dallas Best Car Detailing is a licensed Texas business and carries Garage Keepers Liability insurance, which specifically covers your vehicle while it is in our care. In the rare event of any damage, we document it immediately and process it through our insurance rather than asking you to simply trust us. We can provide a certificate of insurance in advance if your apartment or office building requires one.
Proper technique is what protects your paint, and it is exactly what Dallas Best uses: foam pre-soaks, clean wash media, and measured machine polishing so grit is lifted away rather than ground into the clear coat. Automatic car washes and dirty rags cause the swirl marks most cars arrive with — correct hand-washing prevents them. Every paint-correction job starts with an inspection and paint-depth check, and we are covered by Garage Keepers insurance.
A $30 automatic car wash runs spinning brushes over your paint and installs the very swirl marks a real detail removes; Dallas Best hand-washes every panel and treats each surface individually. Our services start at $150 because they are restorative — deep interior extraction, clay-bar decontamination, and a paint sealant that lasts months, not until the next rain. In DFW sun and road grime, that is the difference between a car that looks maintained and one that looks worn.
Pricing
Mobile car detailing with Dallas Best starts at $150 for an interior or exterior detail and $225 for a Full Detail (interior and exterior together) on a sedan. SUVs and trucks are typically $25–$75 more because of their size. Specialty services are priced separately — paint correction from $499 and ceramic coating from $899 — and you see your exact total when you book, with no surprises at the door.
Professional ceramic coating from Dallas Best starts at $899, which includes the required one-step paint correction and full decontamination. Final pricing depends on vehicle size and paint condition — heavily swirled paint may need extra correction first. That price buys a professional-grade coating rated for 2+ years of protection against Texas UV, heat, and road contamination, applied at your home anywhere in DFW.
Paint correction from Dallas Best starts at $499 and is quoted by vehicle size and the severity of the defects. A lightly swirled daily driver needs less work than a neglected single-stage finish, so we assess your paint and tell you whether a one-step or multi-stage correction makes sense before booking. It is also the essential prep step before a ceramic coating.
No — Dallas Best is fully mobile, and coming to your home or office is included in the price with no separate trip fee within our DFW service area. Because Dallas is our home base, we reach Uptown, Plano, Frisco, and the surrounding suburbs without the long-haul travel charges some companies add. You only pay for the detailing service you book.
No hidden fees — your price is set by vehicle size and the service you choose, and it is calculated during booking so you see the full total before we arrive. The only time cost changes is for genuinely excessive conditions like heavy pet hair (about $50–$75) or biohazard cleanup, which need extra time and materials, and we always quote that and get your okay before starting. There are no surprise charges at the door.
Booking & Logistics
Dallas Best arrives with all the professional equipment, products, and tools needed for your detail; for exterior and full-detail services we do ask for access to an outdoor water spigot and a standard electrical outlet at the location. Interior-only services need even less. If access to water or power is a problem at your home, office, or apartment, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
Yes — Dallas Best regularly details at apartment complexes across DFW, as long as you are authorized to use the parking space and there is room to open our van and work around the car. Covered garages, uncovered lots, and assigned spaces all work. If your building requires advance notice or a certificate of insurance, let us know and we will provide one.
Absolutely — at-office detailing is one of our most popular requests, especially around Las Colinas and the Richardson Telecom Corridor. As long as you can park in a spot we are permitted to use, Dallas Best details your car during the workday and texts you the moment it is done. Many clients simply leave the keys and stay in their meetings.
A Full Detail from Dallas Best takes about 3–4 hours for most vehicles, and up to 5 hours for large SUVs and trucks. That covers a complete interior deep clean plus a hand wash, decontamination, and paint sealant on the exterior. We give you an estimated time window when you book so you can plan your day.
Yes — Dallas Best details all vehicle types, including full-size trucks, three-row SUVs, and vans. Larger vehicles are priced a bit higher (typically $25–$75 over the sedan rate) because they take more product and time, confirmed in your quote before we start. Lifted and oversized vehicles are no problem as long as there is room to work around them.
Yes — Dallas Best handles pet hair, smoke odor, and biohazard cleanup like vomit as part of our interior and deep-cleaning services. Heavy pet hair woven into carpet needs specialized tools and adds roughly $50–$75, while severe odor or biohazard situations are priced on assessment because they require extra sanitation and PPE. We always quote any add-on cost upfront and get your okay before we begin.
No — as long as Dallas Best has access to your vehicle and a way to handle the keys, you do not need to be present. Many customers leave the car in the driveway or an office lot and go about their day, and we text you on arrival and at completion. You are welcome to be there if you prefer.
Light rain does not affect interior-only services, and for exterior or full details Dallas Best monitors the forecast closely. If conditions would keep us from doing the job properly, we contact you to reschedule at no charge — we will not rush compromised work. Covered garages let exterior work continue in most weather.
Dallas Best typically has same-week availability across DFW, and sometimes same-day for an Express service. Ceramic coating books out a little further because of the time it needs on site. For weekend slots we recommend booking 3–5 days ahead to secure your preferred time.
Dallas Best asks for at least one hour of notice to cancel or reschedule without charge; cancellations inside that window and no-shows are subject to a flat $50 fee. That is because the detailer has committed the time slot and often turned down other bookings. You can reschedule anytime before the one-hour window from your account page.
Ceramic Coating
Dallas Best's professional ceramic coating is rated for 2+ years even under DFW's intense UV and summer heat, and with proper hand-washing many clients get 3–4 years. Texas sun and road contamination are harder on coatings than milder climates, so we guarantee the 2-year figure under realistic local conditions rather than an inflated lab number. A quick maintenance detail every few months keeps it performing at its best.
For most Dallas drivers keeping a car more than two years, yes — ceramic coating is the best defense against the UV, heat, and bird-and-tree contamination that dull unprotected paint here. Starting at $899, it makes washing far easier, resists etching from droppings and sap, and helps protect resale value. If you lease or plan to sell within a year, a cheaper sealant may make more sense, and we will tell you so honestly.
Keep the car dry for the first 7 days so the coating cures, then hand wash only with a pH-neutral soap — never use automatic brush car washes, which scratch the coating. Touchless washes are fine, and a detail spray every few months keeps it beading. Dallas Best walks you through the full aftercare when the service is done.
No — the paint must be fully decontaminated and free of any wax, sealant, or residue before coating, which is why every Dallas Best ceramic package includes a one-step paint correction and full decontamination. Applying ceramic over wax bonds it to the wax instead of the clear coat, and it fails prematurely. Correcting first is what makes the 2+ year protection actually last.
Yes — Dallas Best stands behind the application. If the coating fails within the first year under normal use (not from mechanical damage, abrasive washing, or harsh chemicals), we re-apply at no charge. Unlike installer programs that charge $100–$200 a year to maintain a warranty, ours has no annual catch.
Detailing 101
In the DFW climate, most drivers should get a full detail every 3–4 months, with a maintenance wash in between, to stay ahead of UV, dust, and road grime. Commuters and drivers near lakes or construction may want it more often, while a garaged, ceramic-coated car can stretch the interval. Regular detailing costs far less than the value a sun-baked, neglected car loses at trade-in.
They differ mainly in how long they protect: carnauba wax lasts 4–8 weeks, a paint sealant lasts 3–6 months, and a professional ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat for 2+ years. Dallas Best includes a 3-month sealant with exterior and full details, and offers ceramic coating from $899 for drivers who want years of hydrophobic, UV-resistant protection. Ceramic is the most durable and lowest-maintenance, which suits the harsh DFW climate.
Paint correction removes only a microscopically thin layer of clear coat — just enough to level the swirls, scratches, and oxidation sitting in it — leaving plenty behind when done properly. Dallas Best measures paint depth and uses the least aggressive method that resolves the defects, so we improve the finish without over-thinning it. Done correctly and infrequently it is completely safe; the harm comes from aggressive, repeated hack-jobs, not proper correction.
Automatic brush car washes can scratch and prematurely wear a ceramic coating, so Dallas Best recommends hand washing or touchless washes only. The spinning brushes drag grit across the surface and create the very swirl marks the coating is meant to prevent. Stick to a pH-neutral soap and a two-bucket wash, and your coating keeps beading and protecting for its full lifespan.
The Express Wash (from $150) is a thorough maintenance clean — hand wash, vacuum, glass, and tire dressing — ideal for a car that is generally well kept and just needs a reset. The Full Detail (from $225) is restorative: a deep interior clean with shampooed carpets and seats, stain treatment, plus a decontaminated and sealed exterior. If it has been 3+ months since your last detail, choose the Full Detail.
