Trust & Standards

The Standard We Hold Ourselves To

Anyone can buy a pressure washer and call themselves a detailer. There is no license, no barrier to entry, and no one checking. So we publish our own standard — insurance, background checks, and a defined training tier every detailer is measured against.

The training tiers

These are the standards a detailer must meet to reach each tier — not a claim about who currently holds which one. Tier 1 is the highest. Publishing the bar at all is the point: it is a standard you can hold us to.

Insurance

Insured to $2M including garage keepers coverage

Your vehicle is covered while we work on it — $2M liability including garage keepers coverage. That is the fear a customer actually has when a stranger takes a polisher to their car, and it is the one most detailers can't answer.

There are two different protections, and the difference matters. General liability covers damage to your property — a scratched garage door, a broken planter. Garage keepers coverage covers the vehicle being worked on — the car itself, while it is in our care. Most mobile detailers in DFW carry $500K–$1M of general liability and no garage keepers at all, which means the car in the driveway isn't actually covered.

We carry $2,000,000 in liability including garage keepers coverage. If anything happens to your vehicle while we work on it, it is covered — and we can provide a certificate of insurance in advance if your building or HOA requires one.

Background checks

You should know who is coming to your home

Every detailer is background-checked before ever working with a customer. Company policy: all current and future team members are background-checked before working with customers.

  • Screened before their first appointment — no exceptions
  • Applies to every current team member
  • A standing policy for every future hire

Common questions

Are your detailers insured?

Yes. Dallas Best Car Detailing is insured to $2m including garage keepers coverage — $2,000,000 in liability coverage that includes garage keepers coverage, which specifically protects your vehicle while it is in our care. Most mobile detailers in DFW carry neither general liability nor garage keepers at this level.

Are your detailers background-checked?

Yes. Every detailer is background-checked before working with customers. Company policy: all current and future team members are background-checked before working with customers.

What training do your detailers have?

Every detailer is trained to a defined tier standard that sets a minimum number of completed details, training hours, and specific skill areas — from car detailing and paint correction to leather treatment and ceramic coating. Higher tiers add manufacturer training from ceramic coating and detailing product companies.
